    Hi.

I have an Electrolux EOC6630W oven with a damaged door hinge. I have the replacement hinge but am struggling to remove the existing one for replacement. After removing the door it appears that I need to remove the front panel of the oven to access the final bolt but would appreciate clarification from anyone who has done this. I don’t want to break the oven in the process of replacing a hinge that I can live with!

    Many thanks.

as far as i can see the inner glass slides towards the top of the door enough so it can be removed from the bottom

    Hi Dave.

Thanks for that but I may have caused some confusion as it’s the hinge mounts in the oven itself (rather than the hinges in the door) that I’m trying to remove.

    Apologies for the confusion.

    Electrolux EOC6630W hinge bearing replacement

    Hi.

I have an Electrolux EOC6630W oven with a damaged hinge bearing. I have the replacement bearing but am struggling to remove the existing one for replacement. It appears that I need to remove the front panel of the oven to access the final bolt which attaches the bearing to the oven but would appreciate clarification from anyone who has done this. I don’t want to break the oven in the process of fixing a slightly loose door.

    Many thanks.
