Equator combo washer dryer EZ3600CEE shipping bolts

I just bought a used Equator combo washer dryer model EZ3600CEE and I need the 4 bolts that are placed in the back to hold the drum so I can ship the unit. The parts manual doesn’t mention them at all. Does anyone know where I can find out what diameter and length they are so I can just go out and buy some bolts? Thanks

Hi,

These are usually not supplied as a spare part for some reason but, if memory serves me, the Equator machines are re-badged Antonio Merloni’s for the US market for the most part. However, they did use other suppliers as well so far as I am aware and didn’t actually own a factory if you see what I mean.

I would very much doubt that anyone will have a note of the size other than the actual manufacturer, there’s generally no need to know that.

Is Equator still trading as they should be able to tell, find out or simply supply the bolts?

I think I read on another post that Equator went out of business in April 2008. So you think they are now sold by a company called Antonio Merloni?

Thanks, I previously found this manual and left a message at service and parts number. They called back and don’t have the part or the dimensions.

I’m going to have to try different size bolts. The manufacturer is Italian. They would be metric bolts, yes?

M8 from memory – 13mm spanner, anyways.
