Had a call booked in for today near Preston, to a Bosch dishwasher not draining.
She called me last night to cancel. She had a Miele engineer out to repair the washing machine I/G and mentioned that she had an engineer coming today to look at the dishwasher, which Mr miele promptly attended to no doubt for a back pocketted tenner. 👿
Thank you Mr Miele (hope you come on the site) thats a tenner beer token on top of your wage, but part of my takings down for the day because there is no way of recouping that call now. 😈
Personally, if I knew someone else was booked to work on it I’d leave it to them but maybe I’m just not prepared to steal other peoples work!!:lesson:

Yeh, its well naughty when “one of our own” does this, had it couple of times myself.More common i find though is the phone call half an hour before youre due to call telling you “oh my hubby-uncle-neighbour-labrador-or whoever has managed to fix it.. wont be needing you now with your outrageous charges.. £25.. i can get a new one for £169..” Oops, im off on one again.. what was the question ? 😯
