I have a IW811 f&p washing machine with the usually intermittent fault 136, but my fault is a permanent one. This means that even during filling the drum does not move. I have examined and examined the motor controller and with my university degree of computer and electronic engineering i feel as though i have examined each of the parts to the best of my ability. This though yielded no such broken/shorted parts, there were a few which were low in value but still within tolerance.
I believe the error is related to a run time failure, where a part may test fine but when run at a high voltage fails to hold to its specifications.
Also for the point of it i repair washing machine as a second job and have intimate knowledge of F&P washing machines and the related manuals.
Does anyone know anything more about this error, or even suggestions to look at particular sections again with live power.
Thanks in advance
Matt
