Hi, I get the start stop thing once the water mixing conatiner fills.
I tried using hot water only ( actually swapped hoses around) then advanced to rinse and it worked for a few secs then beeped .
I’m pretty sure this is the only code that has come up. I also tried wiggling the out of balance thing behind the bowl.

This is an OOB switch error. The computer thinks that the switch is either jammed on, or not connected.
Do the obvious first – the machine should be level, with the inner tub leaning forward slightly. Otherwise, it may contact the switch arm on a nuisance basis. The switch suffers from corrosion, so you need to check for function, condition of wiring and connectors.
It is possible that the motor board is faulty, but this is unusual.
Power off if going inside……..

I dont know how to tell whether the switch is working or not so I took it off and cleaned the terminals.
It worked but only once, I pushed the arm back and it worked again. For a little while. The little red bit on the switch seems to get stuck in, indicating oob. In order to get the washing done, I removed the arm thing until I can find out where to buy the switch thing. Do you think normal electrical supply places would have it and was it alright to remove the arm thing?
Anyway, thanks so much for your help with the eroor code advice. My children also thank you because they now have clean uniforms to wear to school tomorrow.Re: Error code 00101011 on Smartdrive 603
There is a kit to change this switch for an alternative type, which is less prone to corrosion. The kit will not be available at a general electrical wholesaler but you should be able to get one from a local appliance repairer.
Expect to pay around $40 for the kit.Steve
