Could anyone tell me what the above error code (06) means.
I changed the brushes in June and worked fine. now the machine will begin to wash and then flip onto theis error code and stops.
Can anybody shed any light on this. I’m begining to think I’ve bought a bit of a pup as it is only 2 years old and this is the third fault I have had with it. The other critisism is that it is difficult to find out what the error codes mean so if anyone can shed light on where I can find them out it would be great.
    Cheers

    Hi

Fault code 06 is most likely a motor tacho fault , which means a problem with the motor . Possibly time for an Engineer to look at machine.
If your going to look SWITH OFF AND PULL THE PLUG OUT FIRST
And check the brushes again .

ok, I know this thread is 3 years old, but it might help someone to know that my Brandt just packed up, and I had A LOT of trouble finding info on it like error codes etc.
Gist of it is I had err06 and no spin. Replaced brushes and still no joy (old ones were only half worn anyway). Checked continuity in loom from PCB to motor, and found a boken wire at the motor end multi-pin plug. Remade the connection, and BINGO! Machine now works fine.
I suspect the original poster had a similar problem. He probably disturbed the wires in the process of replacing the brushes, which remade the connection temporarily.
ps it’s a Selni motor, if anyone needs to know 😉
