error code

Hi,, Can you tell mme what the error code on an Indesit W103 refers to when the dial rotates and the on/off button flashes 8 times,, stops thhen repeats itself. I have tried the normal re-set routine.

It is a heating fault, either the heater is faulty, the thermistor faulty, the main circuit board faulty or all three? 🙁
