My ZWF 12070W1 machine is a non-digital-error-code-display model and it doesn’t heat the water. When I depress the buttons “Start/Pause” + “half load” simultaneously, then switch to programme 20 (Sport at 40c) I get six red flashes followed by 9 green flashes from the Start/Pause button. I’m guessing that means error code 69 “heating element relay faulty” – according to a US website. This seems reasonable given that the machine won’t heat up water.
If so, is seems a simple job to replace the heating element. Certainly it looks easier than replacing the door seal = the other job I need to do. But I’d like conformation please – am |I seeing E69 and does that mean a new element is required ? Thank you

Check the element with a meter is what we in the trade would be our next move. Throwing parts at it based on a very unreliable error code not the wisest choice action. Error codes are just a rough guide and not to be entirely relied on.
