E7 is flow meter failure. It’s a water wheel with a magnet in it; when the machine fills with water, the wheel turns, moving the magnet past a reed switch. The computer counts the pulses generated in order to control fill.

    Faults are:

1/ Oxidisation of the contacts at the flow meter. A good clean and a firm pinch of the connector will often restore function.
2/ Reed switch failure. If you’re into electronics and can use a soldering iron, the reed switch can be replaced, otherwise, you need to buy THIS. It’s located under the left hand side panel.

Stafe safe, power off if you intend to deal with this yourself.
