    Hoover vented VHV 680C.
    It works for a few minutes with a loud noise, then stops and all lights flashing. I can’t determine the fault code as it continues flashing indefinitely. If I turn it off and start again it will repeat the process. What next please.

    find out what the noise is. most likely a fan but need stripping to find out

    😀 Hi Dave, spot on…the fan is melted. What would cause that to happen so we can avoid this again?

    not much you can do as long as you clean filters properly and make sure vent hose is clear and straight
