Hi, does anyone have the error codes for this machine?

It is reported to be filling then Door Lock, Easy Iron (third from top) and Rapid (fourth from top) flash and machine pump out.

I have not seen the macbine yet but I will be going there tomorrow (Tuesday) morning

    Many thanks in anticipation

Check the motor brushes; any uneven wear or sticking in the holders can cause filling and programme ‘abort’ faults. Can also cause the valves to go dead!! 😉
    Hope this helps,

    Steve.

Lights 3+4 flashing is NTC short/open circuit: Check thermistor & module connections. Error code F03, same as the Indesit WIDL codes.
Basically same as WF models, the module is a PITA to get out of the WMA type, tiny back panel. 😥

buttons are labelled Rinse Hold & Time Saver on Hotpoint variant.

    slightly changing post topic
i find the best way to remove modules from the WMA type casing is to…
put W/M on it,s side (module side down)….remove motor, and this gives you good access to module, still a bit tricky as you have to negotiate past the sus leg…
i know their will be merloni experts who will be able to remove these things with their eye,s closed,,,but can anybody suggest a better way of removing..
    cheers f/b

Re: Error codes needed for Ariston A1636

The module is faulty on this machine. It is filling, distributing and pumping at the same time and the machine cannot be turned off without pulling the plug. The error code has now changed to 1&3 flashing.

Turns out it’s still under gtee so customer will call in Merloni engineer.

She will keep me informed of outcome.

    Thanks for all your help
