This is a Haier made dishwasher rebranded.
Unfortunately there is little to no service information on these I’m afraid 🙁
Keep trying Necht (Maple Industries).

E4 on these piles of poo is supposed to mean that the temperature sensor has failed. Either the thermostat has popped or there is a wire not properly connected.
Some (not all) have a reset stat which may have tripped.
If you can see an ‘L’ shaped element inside the dishwasher then it’s probably the stat that’s tripped.
If you can’t see this element then you’ll have a heater chamber with embedded stats. Changing this is not a DIY job and will require a professional to change (try Repairs@ for someone local).👿 Haier :haier:
If you decide to take a look yourself then please pull the plug first :plug:

It has the L shaped element as you described, so what should I look for now. The main prob I have is its an integrated appliance, so for me to start lugging it around may be more trouble than it is worth. However if it is a quick solution I am more than happy to have ago. I will in the meantime keep trying Maple!!!!!! No holding of breath from this side though, mind you they have been very good and replaced x 2 without question, would have been nice to be replaced with a model without faults though!!!

Just type ‘Vance Miller’ into Google and you will find out all you need to know about Maple Industries kitchens. 😥

You say that this is your third dishwasher? Assuming that the guarantee is still valid it has to be time for a refund or replacement with a superior product. Do not settle for anything less.
The problems with these machines are extensively documented – they are made to a price, so quality is an issue; spares are coming from China, so supply is an issue; service is through a network, so that’s an issue… Do I have to go on?
Neff and Smeg do an extensive range of integrated dishwashers of far superior quality, I’d go there.

I have exactly the same fault with my dishwasher, which I’ve only used three times. Necht seem to be rebranded Haier dishwashers – their customer support number is 0870 909 9100. They couldn’t help me as I don’t have my model number with me, but they at least tried!

I have the same problem iwth mine. I have Googled this subject and with a combination of all the advice I have found, I did the following:
Tilted the dishwsher slightly backwards. The dishwasher now works again. Basically the float switch needed a bit of encouraging to reset.
I have also decided to use the dishwasher specific salt granules and not rely on the 3 in 1 for keep it going.
Thanks for the suggestions.
