The following article was seen in the ERT (attached) which got me to thinking that this might be a good time to get abit of publicity for the WTA as by association it can appear that we are allied with AMDEA. Obviously, our way of thinking about energy efficient appliances is more down the line of ‘at end of life we support replacement with energy efficient appliances’ rather than ‘lets scrap them all up our sales figures and make more money’. Also as might be expected the issue of carbon footprint (manufacturing transport etc) is not mentioned. Its also appropriate now that we are in the midst of re-use with Defra. Thoughts please.
