ESL6211LO – Cannot change program

Hello,

My dishwasher (Electrolux ESL6211LO – around 3-4 years old) was not working as expected this morning.
I have not had a chance to investigate fully but thought I would check if anyone has had similar experiences.

When powered on an indicator on the control panel shows power as expected and there are no audible beeps. At this stage I usual press the program button to move across the program indicators to go to one of the eco modes. However, in pressing the program button nothing happens, i.e., it does not move to the next indicator light, so I cannot change modes.

The buttons feel fine (I can feel the detent of the switch beneath) and powering off, waiting and powering on again has not helped, and again no beeps (acoustic alarm codes) at any stage.

Anyone have any ideas for what the problem may be? I will check this more thoroughly over the weekend.

It could be that it hasn’t finished the last program. Either leave it to finish or reset the program and see if that helps.

Eh five years late but [USER=”4030″]bazza500[/USER] was spot on. The cycle was not finished (someone opened during washing and interrupted the cycle). Just close the door again and let it complete. Also long hold on the power button may be helpful if it is still not working.
