I had never heard of this make until I saw this appliance. Customer is complaining that it is not reaching the end of the programme and it just sits making a clicking sound with some water remaining in the machine. I tried it a couple of times but clicked it on manually to avoid waiting for it to heat, on both tries it clicked on itself for the final timer positions and did reach the end of the programme. I’m not sure of the model number but it is marked 81-0 on the control panel. Is Etna an actual manufacturer or is this just a re-badged appliance from a well known make? Where can I get spares if required?

Espares list parts for an Etna 8301 and that appears to be a Whirlpool machine. I have the Sios discs but I think you can only get it to work if you know the exact full model number. I’ve never found a way of getting a list of models to choose from.

Mark’s suggestion of showing us a few photos of it (inside and out) would be the best way forward for ID and diagnostic tips.:D

It is a Whirlpool. Model 85451390141

Probably a dodgy timer, I had a few where the cog on the timer motor would slip and it would stop the programme.
