    Has the ISE got one?

Yes, it’s in with the welcome pack/instructions. It’s not the extended colour one though.

Oh OK, only they are advertising in most of the national dailys. At the foot of each advert it reads : –
“Energy saving recommended products are independently tested and meet strict criteria on enery efficiency”.

Maybe an ISE machine could be made available for them to test in order to qualify?

It’s, in my humble opinion, a load of marketing boll0ks. 😉

The only purpose of it that I can see is to sell a badge that means nothing and, like CE marks etc., it costs a bloody fortune to do with “approved” proving agencies only. Jobs for the boys, courtesy of our friends in Brussels.

Apart from which consumers are massively confused by all the different labels out there and few people have a clue as to what they mean or represent beyond the basic A, B, C system. And they don’t even fully understand that.

TBH ISE is way out in front on the environmental argument as it is the only manufacturer with a clear end-of-life policy where the machine is re-used or re-cycled which has a far greater environmental impact than the lifetime’s use.

However, I’ll look into it, but if they come up with the usaul rubbish of £2-10K for testing it ain’t gonna happen. 😉
