This little link I’ve known about for some time. It is the European Commision site for consumer affairs, and if you ignore the boring bits there is a fair bit of useful information in there.

For example if you hit the link on the end of the left hand pane you will see RAPEX, which related to Non-Food products. In there you will find all recalls and trade safety issues. Not all of it is regards our trade of course but sometimes there is something of relevance there.

Also in the yellow drop downs from the near top of the home page, legislation and consumer affairs issues, again can be relevant.

I’ve put it into this forum and made it a sticky as I feel those that take the trouble to invest in UKW can have the benefit of this. I believe we as a body should be aware of this and use it to our advantage.
