Europart/Maddocks spam

Has anyone else been spammed by Europart ??
Just received an e-mail from them, it starts as follows.

‘You have recently contacted us for account facilities and/or a password to our website. http://www.europart.co.uk

In accordance with the Data Protection Act please indicate if you wish to continue to receive email/fax offers from us :YES/NO’

Now I know that P45 is a big Maddocks fan and I do not doubt that they are a sound organisation, however as a small, one man band, I cannot open accounts with umpteen suppliers, the discounts I would get for a couple of parts here and there would not be worth the hassle. I have never contacted them or requested account facilities at any time, either recently or in the past. That is not to say that I would not do so in the future, its just that my Mailwasher programme deletes 75{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the mail on my ISP mailserver before I download e-mails so I have an avid dislike of spam e-mails, I quite like the real stuff though, fried of course. 😀

Think of it as electronic free enterprise by a company you may wish to trade with as they are directly associated with the type of business you run. 😉

I would much rather receive this type of spam than the usual Amazon, Paypal, Tesco on-line, Holiday Club and extendyourwilly.com! 🙁
