oven stat light comes on but no fan or heat, there is a therm stat at rear oven put meter across it no reading are they open or closed circit? did not have time to check door switch i know it could be that as well was not sure about this stat if anyone knows

Over heat stats are closed until over heat temp reached then go open circuit until cools.
