ParticipantHi I have a Lg lb65107 single oven. We have been told by my supplier that he got it from an exhibition and under health and safety laws they can be displayed to power up lights on and fan operates but no heat. So what is it they do to it, to stop it heating.I have taken it apart but cant see anything obvious.Anyone any ideas 😕

Model number is not recognised by LG – can you check it again so I can look into it and possibly come back to you.

Yes indeed.
Demo mode was my thinking and I was trying to look up the model and therefore the necessary codes to see if we could get round it. Unfortunately, if LG UK do not recognise it, I cannot help further.
Sorry

Going on the LG (aussie/New Zealand) web site you can download the user manual for this model. Now it doesn’t mention DEMO mode at all but I wouldn’t mind betting that if you do the following you may just get to the DEMO mode to disengage it maybe? : –
Set FUNCTION SELECTOR to ‘A’
Press the button with the TICK symbol to scroll through the various user options.Worth a try at least!!!! 🙂
