Exfl1810w

I have been to look at the above fridge freezer which is a hotpoint model exfl1810w which was reported to me as tripping the electrics got there checked the socket all ok megged out ok. Pluged into socket the light inside comes bit the compressor doesn’t start up I have 240v in from the plug to compressor and 240v on the wire that goes to module but I don’t have 240v to start capacitor I really don’t know that much with refrigeration so any pointers appreciated kai

Take the capacitor off and wire direct without it.
