So i’ve been tempted to look at fancy toilets, you know the ones that have a bidet function.

    But three important questions:

1/ Does this work at all – are there toilets that can clean your bottom reasonably well, and you actually can save paper?
2/ If the device has a drying function, does that actually work fast enough? It would be silly to have to wait 10 minutes for the thing to do its drying.
3/ Are these prone to break down, hard to maintain? The superfancy brands (toto etc) are probably OK, but what about more reasonably priced ones e.g. the Vitra V-care? (1100 GBP – no dryer) or the Aqua Lava (1200 GBP, includes dryer)

You are totally the wrong forum for this question, we deal with kitchen appliances in the main.

I have done a Google search here and there are a few forums listed which will be able to help.

I know that toilets typically aren’t seen as ‘white goods’ but an electric toilet suddenly – in my opinion – becomes somewhat of that style. Still, ok I will go elsewhere for this one 🙂

Well, I had one of these fancy toilets in my previous rent. However, I don’t think it’s worth the money. Of course, if you have an unlimited budget, go for it.
