Eye level appliances.

Going to a few jobs now where washer and dryer and even dishwasher are set in units at eye level. Generally not integrated but a real pain to work on. I’m not getting any younger and can be a heavy and awkward job to remove. Hoses are generally too short so a full disconnect. How do you deal with these situations as a helping hand may always not be available

If I can’t fix it without removing it then I refuse the repair.
The risk of damaging the kitchen units or the appliance not to mention my back outweigh any financial reward.
