Our 051 will not spin in the spin phase but it sounds like the motor is trying to do something.

Following earlier advice on this forum I get the error code 001 001 01. I assume a LED ON stands for a ‘1’ ??

    Any help appreciated

Correct. The fault is the infamous pump block error, so……

The water level control has not detected a drop in the water level in the time allowed. Check for crushed/nipped drain hose. If OK, the pump and housing may well be blocked (lost a sock recently? 😀 ). It’s a twist fit to remove, but drain the machine first. Be advised that there is a permanent live supply to the pump, so pull the plug first.

If it STILL won’t go, it is possible that the air hose to the pressure switch has water in it, or is kinked/trapped and not releasing as the water level drops.

Finally, it is possible (though unusual) for the motor control board to be faulty – worry about that later.

Thanks alot Penguin45, problem fixed. Not 1 but 2 bra wires blocking the pump. I blame myself really for not inspecting my wife’s bras more closely !
