F & P 051 smartdrive MW model won’t power on

Could it be as simple as the control box(larger of the 2 blue plastic boxes inside the top cover) has a problem. If so does anyone know of a tech I could take it and the circuit board box (other blue box)to on the Gold Coast in Qld to check for me . Rather than pay the appliance call out fee and the part cost as well. I love this washer and it is in great condition….it just will not start and as a pensioner I do not have unlimited funds.

If you’re not going for F+P service, check on http://www.appliance.asn.au for a local repairer. This is the Oz trade association, so you should find a reputable repairer that way.
