    Help what does code 51 mean on an IWL12?

    The machine is losing water in the wash, due to a problem with the diverter valve. If it is in the wrong position, water will be drained, rather than recycled.

    Check for a circuit through the solenoid, check for obstructions in the valve assembly, preventing operation. It is possible for a component to fail on the computer board to fail, thus supplying power to the valve permanently, but this quite unusual.
