f & P smart drive 501

hey all

i have a washing machine the F & P smart drive 501 model number MW051 and the power button works but the start button does not.

i read through the forums here and found how to get error codes.

the error lights are as so

00100100 on the progress bar

since the manual doesn’t help either i would like a responce to know what to do next because i have rang out of ideas.

Odd one – 36 is the water leak error – machine has had to top up the water level four times. Usual cause is syphoning – drain hose pushed too far down the drain pipe.

However, you say it doesn’t start, so ignore the code and do the basics first. Check lid switch and out of balance switch for function, corrosion and dodgy wiring. You’ll need to remove the top deck for access – two screws at the back will release it.

Stay safe, power off.
