F & P Smartdrive8 Diagnostic

This issue seems to have been dealt with fairly extensively, however I’m still trying to ascertain what the hell all the codess mean. My washer simply will not operate after turning it on. All of the buttons provide the right visual display however nothing actually happens! So, what I’m really after is how dow do I interpret what the codes mean?

Sorry, Jones – haven’t a clue what you’ve been up to. First one is a pressure switch problem, second one is to do with the rotor position sensor, most of the rest don’t make sense.

Have you read and followed the sticky at the top of the forum? Not the one about the Ashes…..

Model number might be useful as well. I’ve asked BSP to have a look at this; he might be able to make more sense of it.

Whats the model
Whats the machine Doing or not doing
Go to sticky as suggested by penguin & give us the last fault

Sorry;
-The model is GW708U
-As I said, when I turn the power on it gives me all the right indications as though it will work as normal. when ‘start’ is pressed, NOTHING happens, Oh I get the ‘beep’ and then that is it!
-Codes have changed a little since last post;

You should only get one Fault Code?
But i would suggest from fault
IE Powers up But Nothing happens
Reed Switch problem (lid Switch)
Switch located under hob ,runs along RHS to rear control panel Area
