A couple of points to share:-

    1. On my Miele UK dishwasher model (not the same machine as yours, but a G1222 SC) I measured a voltage of only 5V at the flow sensor. So it may be worth checking with a multimeter, very carefully of course. I attached the negative lead to earth (a metal part on the machine chassis) and the positive lead on the sensor. One side read 5V and the other side (while filling) fluctuated at a bit below 5V (reading pulses from the reed). That suggests a much less robust reed switch might be required on some models if it only needs to handle 5V.

    2. I had been getting an intermittent F13 filling fault with the protective solenoids operating in the connector and causing the machine to drain after a minute or so. I eventually noticed that the error went away when I pulled the machine away from the wall to take the side panel off. My conclusion is that the hose was getting crushed or kinked behind the machine. I rerouted it and so far so good – it seems to be fine.

For good measure I also tested the fill sensor reed switch sensor off the machine using a multimeter and small magnet and it seemed quite healthy.
