F6 doesn’t appear to be a listed fault code for some reason.
What’s the dishwasher doing ?
Dave.

Dave, thanks for prompt reply. Machine ejects dirty water during a cycle but does not refill. F6 and on/off button starts flashing and the 40-50 deg cycle light also flahes, we use the ECO 50 program but when the isuue occurs the 40-50 deg light also flashes.
The machine fills up initially at the start of the program with no problem, but just won’t refill after ejecting dirty water during the cycle.
Hope this helps,
Thanks

It sounds like it’s not draining properly to me, although I’m not completely up to speed on these models.
Someone will pick this up later no doubt who will know the machine better than I do.
Dave.

Sorry, won’t be much help but F6 error means “Water tap closed”.
Without seeing and checking the machine can only guess at either faulty inlet valve or crushed inlet hose.August 19, 2004 at 6:50 pm #115434guest25

Thanks for the info guys. The inlet pipe isn’t crushed but I think the water pressure is fairly low, so I’m going to try and hook it up to a better feed as a first step before I try anything with the inlet valve. This may take a day or so, but I’ll let you know the outcome as soon as.
Thanks again for your help.

I checked the mains valve and it was only about 70{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} open.
Afterwards I ran it using the normal 50 degree eco programme and the
following happened :1) it discharged any residual water
2) filled & washed during the 1st cycle
3) emptied and then re-filled
4) during the 2nd wash cycle it emptied, stopped and showed the fault
message F6.This is quite strange since it filled and emptied a number of times before
failing which previously it would only fill at the start and then show F6.Anymore suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Again, Sorry but without seeing and checking I can only guess at a faulty inlet valve. You’re best bet is to put your post code in here and see if there’s an engineer near you. I do advise getting an engineer as it will work out cheaper in the long run.
