    Happy New Year

A (hopefully) simple question regarding the above main fan oven.

The fan is not working, and I am in the process of renewing it.

However, will the above fault stop the element from working?

The customer reported no heat, stating that the fan was working.

However, the fan is definetely faulty along with no heat. The element produced a good Meg Ohms reading, (the fan didn’t) and I wonder if the fan has to work in order for the element to heat up.

I’m relatively inexerienced in the oven repairing world, and would appreciate some advice.

    Best wishes,

Not sure how these are wired but there may be an over temp inline. If the element is not open circ I would go with the fan motor and if that doesn’t cure it trace the wiring back from the element

    Have you checked the timer?
Has the power been off, or has she been cleaning it and accidentally set it to auto?
You’ve probably checked already, but just in case!
