ParticipantWashing machine now 6 years old, started to make grumbling noises so suspected the bearings, stripped it down today both bearings are stuffed, they are 6306-Z & 6307-Z which appear to be easily obtainable for about £26 delivered. However the thing I’m having difficulties with is the rubber bearing seal, it has the numbers 64475 & 47-80-10/13 which appears to tie in with 47mm ID, 80mm OD, thickness 10mm, with 13mm being the lipped thickness at the 47mm point (I think).
As Fagor no longer exist & https://www.4fagor.co.uk/ don’t even list the model washing machine, I’m struggling to get the seal, there does appear to be a Brandt’s seal which is 47x80x10 it doesn’t have the lip on the inner edge will this still be suitable, or does anyone know where I can get the correct seal?
Thanks for reading.
Alan..

ParticipantProbably not good form to reply to your own posts, but I have found another couple of part numbers which appear to be the same item (unless you know better) FS8214X or L57A004A8, they appear to be available in Spain & Portugal but delivery is 2 weeks, hopefully I can get one in the UK quicker.

Moderatoryou could message site shop to see if they have any ideas as long as the seal is the same size I cant see a reason why it would not work for a while at least. I would pack the seal with silicone grease as a lubricant to reduce wear
BNTL57A004A8 is a part number my main wholesaler has in stock, Site could well use same supplier so may be able to order
is also cross reffed to a brandt seal 96X2385

ParticipantJust to bring this up to date in case anybody else comes along with the same issue, I called UK Whitegoods on the 2nd Jan, forgot it was a BH in Scotland, even so the call was answered the gentleman asked me to email tech support which I did. Couple hours later I got a reply to say that bearings were in stock & they had created a new code on their system for the seal but they would have to order it in from France. Ordered all 3 parts & received them 7 days later, which considering they had to wait for their own delivery was very good.
All parts installed & we have a good washer again, £45 against £600+ for a compatible model
