    thanks all, I’ve actually gone for a clicky knobbed Siemens washer and they are going to braille up a replacement front panel for me for free! I shall worry about drying nearer to winter.. all input greatly appreciated and I’ll bear ICE and other suggestions in mind for future – any thoughts on White Knight? THey have some very cheap, knob controlled dryers I’m considering…
