ParticipantHas anyone had any experience of the Zanussi vacuum cleaners marked as Zanussi. They are all over EBAY and Amazon and were even sold on Robert Dyas but Zanussi deny they are anything to do with them so no warranty. I have a ZAN2020UR and have been totally unable to find spare filters etc.

Moderatoryou need to find the owners manual
currys sell it and they wont sell fake
you could ring them and ask them where to get filters. My guess it will be the same as one of the vax machines as it looks like the same sort of chinese design

ParticipantIt was Zanussi who told me they were not their products and Currys and Robert Dyas no longer seem to stock them. I have scoured the web for spares for these items, and have now found and old filter type from a VAX that can be made to fit. What I dont understand is how are Zanussi/Electrolux so blase’ about having their name on stuff which is not authorised by them ?

ModeratorIf it is genuine it will have a prod no. or PNC number starting 9002….. give us this number and we will have a look, there are some listings for the 2020 to the trade.

ParticipantThats exactly what I had arrived at after weeks of searching, however I have asked Currys where I can get spares from and see what they come back with.

ParticipantI’ve done a bit of digging on this and it appears that “The Electronic Company UK Ltd” have the licence for these “Zanussi SDA” appliances in the UK:
https://www.theelectronicco.com/
01922 929861As has been mentioned, none of them have Electrolux product numbers so spares cannot be sourced in the usual manner.
