    Hi

I have a Falcon Cooker Hood (Model no: fhdsf1100ss/c and Serial no: 9292000017). The 2nd fan speed setting and the lights have stopped working however all other functions continue to work. I suspect that it might be the control / switch unit which is at fault. I’ve found the part number for the parts I need ( I think!) but am struggling to find the parts themselves – 9292000017 000190 (control unit) and 9292000017000101 (buttons).

Is anyone able to help me source these in the UK?

For some reason I can’t get part numbers for that one but, it’s a Faber made hood for them so the numbers you do have aren’t correct.

Thanks. I’ve also googled Faber hood parts and am struggling to find anything. Any suggestions as to where I turn next?

Trouble is that RM shows no parts at all so, no part numbers. With no part numbers, there’s nowhere to go with it as I can’t cross-reference it.

Faber’s website (https://www.faberhoods.co.uk/faber-support/service-and-spare-parts/) says service is managed by Whirlpool and to either phone 0345 548 7797 or email office@kitchenex.co.uk

With great difficulty I have managed to find the part numbers on the Rangemaster website:

    Control unit: Part no. 1330157449
    Buttons: Part no. 1330078943

both those part numbers are showing in stock at one of our wholesalers
you need to ask the site shop about price and if they can supply

Oh I can get them cheaper but, and this will likely apply there as well, you’d be waiting at least 1.5 months for delivery on that part, not available to ship for at least 27 days.

    But, not that cheap.

No problems. It was just an observation.
Hopefully the information we’ve uncovered will help the original poster.

Looking at that switch assembly it’s possible the actual switches have failed if some functions work and not others. If the OP is happy soldering they should be easy to replace. They would be something like these, but the exact type would have to be checked.
