ParticipantHi
I have a Falcon Cooker Hood (Model no: fhdsf1100ss/c and Serial no: 9292000017). The 2nd fan speed setting and the lights have stopped working however all other functions continue to work. I suspect that it might be the control / switch unit which is at fault. I’ve found the part number for the parts I need ( I think!) but am struggling to find the parts themselves – 9292000017 000190 (control unit) and 9292000017000101 (buttons).
Is anyone able to help me source these in the UK?

KeymasterFor some reason I can’t get part numbers for that one but, it’s a Faber made hood for them so the numbers you do have aren’t correct.

ParticipantThanks. I’ve also googled Faber hood parts and am struggling to find anything. Any suggestions as to where I turn next?

KeymasterTrouble is that RM shows no parts at all so, no part numbers. With no part numbers, there’s nowhere to go with it as I can’t cross-reference it.

ParticipantFaber’s website (https://www.faberhoods.co.uk/faber-support/service-and-spare-parts/) says service is managed by Whirlpool and to either phone 0345 548 7797 or email office@kitchenex.co.uk

ParticipantThe buttons are quite a bit cheaper in Italy!: https://www.filtrocappa.it/gb/brand-names/faber-roblin/keyboards-and-slider/kit-external-keys-for-faber-stilo-cooker-hoods-133-0078-943

KeymasterOh I can get them cheaper but, and this will likely apply there as well, you’d be waiting at least 1.5 months for delivery on that part, not available to ship for at least 27 days.
But, not that cheap.

ParticipantNo problems. It was just an observation.
Hopefully the information we’ve uncovered will help the original poster.May 20, 2021 at 7:09 am #476882 -
