fault code 14

    i have a hoover vhd9123d with a fault code E14, this is not listed in the book & have not found it in any search , any ideas what it means.

    the machine still completes all washes.

    E14 is either a faulty control board on one version, or, faulty heater/temperature control on the other. How you tell which is which I’ve no idea. Heater and temperature can be tested with a multimeter, at least.
