My Whirlpool ADP4732al Service code 8511 506 15840 38 0434 006937 runs for about 15 minuets on any cycle the stops with the LED above the “start” button flashing & “F04” displayed in the cycle time window.

Any ideas on what the fault is & where to start investigating?

    Hi
If the water has drained, I would imagine you will be looking at a faulty Water Indicater (WI),clogged filters, gunge around the WI or faulty module/PCB.

The WI is situated below the filters when removed at the 3 o clock position.
Un plug appliance before invesitgating :plug:

    Thanks Greg.

Any clues on how I check the WI & remove it. An exploded view may help, I’ve scoured the net, but, can’t find one.

    Regards

    Hi
If there is no crud or debris on the WI then its either faulty or the PCB is. Check connections from it to the PCB aswell.
You can gently clean in the grill with a toothbrush, but be craeful not to puncture membrane behind 😉

Two months ago I took a kettle & toothbrush & continualy brushed at a grid towards the back right with boiling water filling the supm. Then drained & repeated. The dishwasher has not faulted since, obviously full of crud.
    Thanks for the help.
