Of course if you right click on the little square next to the ‘Posted’ time you can link directly to the relevant post rather than the page view.

At the top of every single post there is a tiny square, next to that square is the date and time of the post, if you right click on the little square you can copy a direct shortcut to an individual post as opposed to the whole page. 😉

Sorry Jim, I’m a bit thick…sorry….but when I right click on the little ‘letter’ icon to the left of date & time of post all I get is the usual “Open Link or Open Link in new Tab” type stuff…I’m not with you mate, don’t get what you’re telling me. 😕 .

If you right click on the letter icon and then select “open link in new window” you then get just your post displayed rather than the whole page view. You can then copy and paste that url into your next post in the usual way.
HTH 🙂

Are you using IE, is it the latest version?
When I right click on the small letter symbol I get all of these options.

Like THIS you mean? 😀
Joking aside, I have learnt something from that, thanks to Jim and Don, about the little letter icon etc, nice one guys.
I was a little confused by Jim’s first post on the subject because I was, at the time, only referring to my ‘funny’ fast-track to error codes button ’twas just in jest as always. But I learnt something out of everyone elses confusion, so can’t grumble at that.
Now simply press this button if you wish to exit the thread! 😀
