    Has anyone got the fault codes for a hotpoint SQ872 oven please.

    Has a ER06 fault code. (I Think its the probe)

    only Hpt code i can find that is er06 is below

    ER06 Oven PTC is Short Circuited
    1) Verify functioning of PTC (ambient temp should read
    545ohm) then replace if necessary
    2) Replace Main Board


    the ptc is aka Oven temperature sensor

    thanks for that, thats what i thought but could not find any code’s anywhere.
    Fingers crossed its just the sensor.
