    Hi

I’m getting error codes AL02 & AL99 on the display of my Hotpoint DWF50 Dishwasher.

Any help would be gratefully received (It’s doing my head in, not to mention ruining my hands…lol)

AL02 is a not filling error, AL99 is far more worrying though as it points to a communication error (electronic error or poor connections).

If you are going to check these yourself, please pull the plug .. :zap:

I would recommend an engineer thought to be honest.

    Dave.

I recently bought a “returned” DWF70. First thing that came on the screen was AL99. Manual was a photocopy and some pages are missing, so your site provided me with the answer “communication display”. Being a Sunday I couldn’t contact any service centres, so I employed the “Dr Who” method of repair – I hit it. So it’s now running through it’s first cycle!

A hard slap to the front of the door next to the control panel may just be enough to get all the bits communicating again. It’s worth a try. Worked for me.

    Hi 1st post here!

AL99 message has appeared constantly on our dishwasher since new. It has never stopped it working though. Several hotpoint engineers have been informed about it when visiting to fix other problems and have never done anything about it. Will it eventually break down due to this??
