I have a faulty Indesit dishwasher, The problems that the number 1 program light is flashing quickly and wont move on to the next program, even when I switch it back on/off. The pump is running and emptys any excess water ( even when I put more water in ) . I have tried a new circuit board but to no avail, can anyone help me. Thankyou

Mine is the same. I had the problem where the water was continually emptying. Check in the bottom of the diswasher for water leaks in the recirc. unit, as this will cause this problem. Our timer is dead too, so the machine (DG6145) is beyond repair at a little over 2 years old. I guess indesit is just cheap spanish quality and I for one would not buy one again.

    moisy,

i think that when i no.1 prog light flashes this is telling you that the base pan has water in it,make sure you switch the machine off, the base pan is held by 6 screw (3 at front + 3 on back), the pan has a float in it and if it fills with water it switchs the pump on continiously. you’ll need to check for leaks, but i have also heard that if the filters have been blocked this can cause it to overfill and water to overflow out of a breather into the base pan
