Fault with Neff Induction hob

    Dear forum members
    Can anyone be kind enough to suggest what might the problem with my hob and the best course of remedial actions

    The details are:
    Manufacturer: Neff
    Appliance type: Induction hob (4 element)
    E-Nr: T4284 X0
    Ref: 01/FD8603200073

    Fault
    1. On switching on all four indicator lights show 0
    2. Place a pan on either of the two right hand hobs and + to set a level of heating
    3. The light flashes showing the heating level selected 0 – 9
    4. After about 30 seconds the indicator changes to alternating between 0 and e
    5. The two hobs on the left work fine

    Remedial actions taken.
    1. Switched off the mains supply for 15min and reconnected

    maybe a fault with the power board or sensors, these are very expensive to repair, your model is 5 years old and cost approx £900 to buy a new one. best left to BSH engineers
