Hi have a Baumatic BFW1000W washing machine. Stopped halfway during the wash cycle, according to the missus. Drained water out manually. Switched washing machine off at the mains, and left it for 15 mins. Tried again to start machine. When selecting a cycle, the door lock clicks, and one hears some activity within the machine, but instead of lighting up the Start/Pause LED, it goes straight to the Run LED (stays lit, not blinking) next to the Selector switch. Checked error codes in the User Manual, but no match to any error code. Anyone have any ideas about the fault? Any help appreciated! 😥 Missus not happy about broken washing machine! HELP!!! :taz:

Try pressing and holding the start button until the end light comes on. Turn the selector back to zero, then try re-selecting and starting.

Thank you! It appears that has done the trick. Seems to work as I selected a cycle, it started to fill. Will try a small wash tomorrow, and do a proper test! It will put me in the missus’s good books again! 😈 Will report outcome tomorrow! 🙂

It means that it hadn’t finished doing whatever it was doing, so keep an eye on it next load.
