Faulty Bosch SGI 5322 Dishwasher

Hi all,

Wonder if you can help. We inherited a Bosch SGI 5322 integrated dishwasher when we moved a few years ago. Up to now it has been fine however since yesterday it has been stuck at 2h and when the power button is pushed in it doesn’t always stay on. From the reading I have done it seems it is either a faulty board or heating element. I don’t have the necessary skills to repair this. My wife has also noted that over the last few days their has been a marked decrease in the quality of the wash.

I guess what my main question is if it is worthwhile getting this model repaired, I don’t really want to spend too much money on a new Dishwasher atm with the current climate.

might only be a blocked hose .get someone to look at it if your not confident enough to look yourself.

I asked my wife to do a 35 quick wash, this one completed however the suds at the bottom of the dishwasher hadn’t drained…would this point more to a blockage as Galway/Penguin45 suggested more than the pcb/heating element?

someone in the trade did me a favour and had a look for me, he advised the pump had failed. Is it worthwhile replacing it on this model or getting a new dishwasher entirely?
