I have a Premier Range PR98.9M extractor that has stopped working. The lights all work fine but when a button is pressed to turn on the extractor, the unit beeps a couple of times and the lights go out. It sounds like it is trying to reset itself.
I would really like to get this unit fixed than have to buy a new one.
Can anyone advise if they have any experience of this issue and what needs to be replaced to fix it?
Thanks
lots of these cooker hoods are made by either CATA ( appleson ) or TEKA and they all suffer from premature motor failure. a lot of the time its the thermal fuse on the motor coil which you can purchase from RS components and replace if you wanted to give it a bash , check the control PCB for try joints too often the relay contacts can need resoldered.
