    There is a right angle bend in that tube which you need to clean around…if that doesn’t do it then it’s engineer time to clean or replace the metering tank as required i’m afraid.

    | have a DWD61SS – This worked for me but only after I had changed the timer. When it first started playing up, it appearded as if the timer wasn’t advancing. After changing worked OK until dishwasher was refitted.

    Fingers crossed, following the cleanout it has worked faultlessly for three washes and has now been refitted.

    Go for the easiest (and cheapest) options first !!
