FDW20 hotpoint aquarius

The machine does sound like it drains (pumping) but water remains at the bottom of the machine. There is nothing obvious stuck in drain hose. What else should we try?

If you are sure that you can hear the pump running and the machine has its drain pipe coupled onto a spigot under the sink, I’d check that first for blockages.

There is no blockage in the pipe or associated waste outlet, what do we try next?

then there is either a blockage in the hose , or (more likely) the pump isnt actually running, its just humming

lie the machine on its side, take the bottom off and take the pump off to look in it

power off, please!!!
