ParticipantHi guys,
I have a problem with the above dishwasher that it does nothing just the wash / 2nd led come on a couple of seconds after you start it. I’ve changed the inlet valve, the heater is not open circuit, The insulation resistance of the machine is fine, Will this means its the pcb?
Thanks,

Light 2 on its own isn’t an error as far as I can recall?
You say it does nothing just the wash??
If the machine fills, circulates and drains ok. And you have checked the heater then I would go for the board. Make sure you order the board using the serial number as there are normally two types.

Do you mean the light is on steady.
Have you tried holding the start button in for five or six seconds to clear.
If that doesn’t do the trick then it does look as though the PCB is borked.

Yes the light is just steady, I’ve tried resetting it by holing the button and also turning the dial to reset but all that happens then is that light goes out, so you re select a prog and that wash light just comes back on again.
(Also the salt light stays on but it does look low on salt)May 4, 2010 at 12:37 am #319186leavemetogetonwithit

As the much-missed* John Major once said, back to basics:
Is there 240v across the inlet valve?
If yes, then valve is faulty or H2O supply pressure / blockage in supply. Could try filling dw using a saucepan to required level and see what happens.
If no 240v at valve, trace wiring back to board / request circuit diagram.
Mike.
