Great meeting well worth coming over from N Ireland for.
Steve did you come for the meeting only or did you stay over?I would recommend you to stay over one night anyway as everyone is to busy on the day.February 27, 2012 at 10:40 pm #364361Poppins

Hi Chaps,
Just wanted to say a very big thank you to everyone involved in organising the conference. It’s amazing to see how much it has changed/improved in just a short time. I found the latest ‘state of the market’ presentation from the Swift guy fascinating (sorry I forgot your name! :rolls: ). The ‘Rapport’ system from Ken and Sudeep looks brilliant and I look forward to downloading it once the dust has settled.
It was obvious there had been lots of hard work put in by many individuals.
Thank you…..it’s much appreciatedCheers

Thanks guys, the feedback is much appreciated and more so as it has all been very positive. In fact, there’s been no negatives that I’m aware of.
We do try to entertain and inform. 🙂
I would say though that, on the Thursday night, it took us ages to suss that the bar was off, we were too busy sorting stuff for the Friday and we packed it in pretty early as we were all shattered and had a long day ahead. We did have a long day, I’m still recovering.
There was a mountain of work put in by the WTA team both leading up to and on the day as well as drafted in help from spouses/partners to boot. Without that these things simply could not happen and the dedication from them all, well, the proof was in the pudding as they say.
The WTA team have been on this for months.
As I said today to someone, they made it look effortless but the reality is, it really was a heap of hard work from them spanning months. Not one of them doesn’t deserve credit for the end result.
The attention to detail was, TBH, bordering on the stupid.
As an example, we were figuring out lighting at, oh 10pm or so, the night before with us debating whether it worked or not and eventually with Barrie up a set of ladders removing bulbs to stop the screen looking washed out.
Meanwhile checking sound, getting the stage people back with leads at 11pm, moving the stage, getting power ran, moving screens, setting up projectors, setting out tables, marking out stand space…
I’m just well chuffed that all that graft wasn’t wasted and that people enjoyed the day. Makes it worthwhile.

Having been unable to attend the WTA meeting and looking here I can find no details of what took place at the meeting, or anything that came out of it?
Is there going to be a post outlining the main points of the meeting ? and any releases or downloadsFebruary 29, 2012 at 8:19 am #364364kwatt

When I get to it, yes there will be some of the highlights but I’ve been a tad busy the past few days and we don’t take minutes, it’s not that sort of meeting.
