Felt bearing for Zanussi

Hi All, now this felt bearing thingy for the drum to rotate in at the door side, on the Zanussi tumble dryer – what keeps it in place?

it pulls tight around the front air duct, and holds itself in place, if its come off, it needs a new one.. and it aint a nice job either
